On November 27, 2009 a meeting with a representative of Spanish company Eolium from Planificaciones Mundiales Group, director of renewable power projects R.Ramirez was held in Almaty office of the PROON/GEF project “Kazakhstan - the development of wind energy market initiative”. The company is specialized in the field of wind power plants installations.

Perspectives of cooperation between the Spanish company and the UNDP in the sphere of renewable energy development were discussed during the meeting; in particular, financing and realization of real projects in wind power plants installation.

The UNDP was represented by project manager A.Sospanova, project advisor G.Doroshin, and technical specialist M.Rakov. Also, Director General A.Trofimov and chief engineer O.Dalabayev from Institute Kazselenrgoproject participated in the meeting.
